To date Julie has raised nearly $200,000 for the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network through her website marathongoddess.com. By day Julie works as a Real Estate accountant, she has two children 20 and 25. She also will be 1 of the 7 featured runners in the upcoming documentary The Spirit of the Marathon 2 showing in select cinemas nationwide Wednesday, June 12th, visit marathonmovie.com for theatre and ticket info. Julie is honored that she has raised so much awareness and has been featured on CNN, The Today Show, Runners World and most recently has been named Southern California's 2013 Woman of the Year by Senator Ted Lieu.
