Boy Who Lost His Life In San Bernardino Shooting Survived Heart Surgery

New details are emerging about the young boy that lost his life in the shooting at a San Bernardino elementary school yesterday.

The 8-year-old boy, named Jonathan Martinez, was part of the special education program at the school. He was born with Williams syndrome, a rare genetic disease disorder that causes heart problems. Jonathan had survived heart surgery.

The family hopes that Jonathan's story will spread awareness about Williams syndrome.

If you'd like to help Jonathan during this difficult time, a GoFundMe campaign has been setup by his cousin to help the family with funeral expenses and meals for the family.
