A man found a shocking surprise in a Matagorda river channel when he stumbled upon thousands of washed up dead fish in Texas.
Kyle Naegeli, known as The Fish Whisperer on YouTube, posted a video on his channel showing viewers an unprecedented amount of dead menhaden fish in a river channel that leads to the Gulf of Mexico.
Naegeli took to the comments section, asking viewers to explain this eerie phenomenon. Some explanations included fertilizer runoff from industrial agriculture, toxic water, and unsatisfactory fishery practices.
