This year marks the 25th anniversary of the iconic Whitney Houston film, The Bodyguard, and although it is unfortunate Whitney is not here to commemorate, to honor her, Christina Aguilera will perform at the American Music Awards for a tribute to the film -- and to Whitney herself.
Houston's estate issued a statement saying, “Whitney herself stated that Christina Aguilera sang the best version of her song ‘Run to You.’ Whitney said that Christina is without a doubt one of the best voices she enjoyed in this generation of music."
The AMAs will air live on November 19th on ABC.
