Aaron Carter was arrested for DUI on Saturday in Georgia when he was driving with his girlfriend, who was also arrested. However, Carter is speaking out claiming he was targeted by the police because he's a celebrity.
Carter's older brother, Nick Carter, wrote on Twitter saying, "To my brother: I love u no matter what & if u feel the need to reach for help, I am here and willing to help you get better. Family isn't always easy, but we're all here for you."
Aaron wasn't feeling Nick's online support and responded with, "If my own blood truly cared about my well-being, why wouldn't he call me directly and have a conversation instead of making this about him through a very public forum? That's not cool at all to use me for his PR and kick me while I am down. I love my family despite it through thick and thin."
Carter had to cancel his show in Kansas City that same Saturday but has since met bail and is back on the road finishing his tour.
Just says before his DUI arrest, Carter spoke to TMZ claiming he would never get a DUI because he doesn't even drink alcohol.
