Southwest Airlines Surprises Bride-To-Be With Celebration At 35,000 Feet

If there's one airline that knows how to bring cheer up in the air, it would be Southwest Airlines.

The crewmembers on Southwest Airlines went out of their way to celebrate bride-to-be, Bri, as she flew to Houston, Texas for her bachelorette party.

In addition to a crown and a sash made from snacks, the flight crew made an announcement to all passengers to write down words of encouragement for the bride-to-be on Southwest Napkins.

“I need a little help from every lady on the plane that is married or has been married, I’m going to walk up and down the aisle and I’m going to give out a napkin,” the flight attendant said.
“Get out a pen or something to write with, share amongst yourselves, if you would take a moment to write a little note of encouragement or piece of advice – what was something you would like to have known before you became a bride – if you could write that down so that I can pass that off to her.”

Bri was touched by the thoughtfulness of the crew and passengers who took the time to make her feel special. She received dozens of sweet love notes with great advice.

One of the notes reads, “Marry your best friend. Beyond that, never start doing a job you’re not prepared to do forever (like ironing) and NEVER shovel snow!”
Another passenger advised, “Keep a sense of humor and always have fun. Always put each other first! (Very important!)”
