I am cheap. There, I've said it. I'm saving to put two kids in college in a few years, and I've also got a Mountain Dew habit to finance. My wife has some sort of pathological resistance to wearing used clothing, thinking whatever cooties the previous owner had will spread to her. I have no such fear, and happily find great deals on men's clothing at a couple local thrift stores. Hey, I wash 'em first!
I just realized that today's outfit is nearly entirely from thift stores, and amazingly cost less than $10.00. Banana Republic pants, probably never worn: $6.95. Banana Republic shirt, $2.00 on clearance.
I draw the line at shoes. I mean I "walk the line" at shoes. Now that's just gross. I'm wearing my own shoes. And underwear. Okay, too much information.
I've worked in radio for 27 years, and this is definitely the coolest, best job ever! Afternoons at KOST in LA is a dream come true for me!
My wife Lisa and I have a 14 year old boy named Jackson and an 11 year old girl named Lauren. Jackson's a sweet, smart kid who loves computers and playing his cello. Lauren may seem shy, but ask her about animals, especially West Highland White Terriers, and she'll talk your fluffy little ears off! She's started ice skating lessons and is doing great!
Friday night is our family "Star Trek and pizza night," and we like to go for hikes and bike rides.
