I can be heard on the wireless with Mark & Kristin in the mornings...(till they uncover my checkered past and ship me back to Tasmania).
A little about myself...
I was going to write this in the third person as that is what one does when writing a bio, but that has always felt weird as we always write our own bio but pretend someone else has for us so that we sound kind of important...unless you're really famous of course and then you'll have people writing all kinds of things about you. Guess I still have a ways to go...
So I was born in the small town of Burnie, Tasmania. A beautiful little island of ex-convicts situated off the bottom of Australia that is sometimes forgotten (or denounced) by our somewhat larger mainland counterpart. You may notice in the map below that somebody has decided to name every state except for Tasmania, hence my fantastic use of photoshop...

Once I completed my degree in Performing Arts in the year of 1999 I left this lovely little place and jumped on a plane bound for the U.S for the first time and headed to Miami to work on cruise ships. This was short lived however and through a series of circumstances involving a cute girl, a jealous member of the ships security and a big night out in Mexico and Bucko was heading home to his Island State...oops, slipped back into third person a bit there. This little journey had given me a taste of the United States and, like an alchoholic after a sip of wine, I wanted more.
In 2000 a local radio station called me out of the blue and asked if I would like to join the team as their stunt guy which resulted in numerous acts of stupidity and the waxing of my privates many times over for my co-hosts amusement. In 2002 I managed to make the move to the city of Melbourne on the mainland where I joined one of the largest radio networks in Australia.
After four fantastic years on-air I was surfing the interweb when a pop-up hit my screen offering me the chance to live and work in America...it was called the 'Greencard Lottery'. This sounds dodgy, I know, but I assure you it does really exist and it was only 40 bucks so what the hell. As luck would have it, I won my greencard first time round and was given six months to relocate permanently to America. I've been here almost four years now and although my dream of joining a Mexican street gang is still yet to be fulfilled, I am having a blast in this wonderful country!
