Check out pics of what I did this weekend!Click Here

Are you single or married? Single
How many children do you have?none
Do you own a pet? Nope, but I've had several in the past...and somedayI'll have a Yorkie = )

Hobbies? ummm...I'm a girl so naturally SHOPPING hahaha.Writing, dancing, checking out new music, watching new movies, trying new restaurants, going to UCLA Bruin events, having movie nights, artsy stuff, going to the gym whenI get a chance, spending time with my family and friends, and my recently discovered love...traveling = )
Favorite Color? hmmm...I can't choose just one.
Favorite Sport? to watch on TV...Basketball. To play or watchlive on a beautiful summer day...Baseball.BUT, I think my favorite sporting event is the World Cup or the Olympics. Go World!
Favorite book? "The Great Gatsby,""The Strange Case of Dr Jekyl and Mr. Hyde,"and I really loved the moral lessons of Mary Shelley's "Frankenstein." Currently I'm working on "Love in Time of Cholera."
First appearance on KOST?February 6, 2006
What was your first radio job? I interned for a morning show, and I got to go to many red carpet events, so I LOVED it.
What was the worst job you ever had? hmm...this is a tough one. I think I've liked all my jobs, but some have been harder than others. I think the toughest was charging for parking at the Orange Blossom Festival in Riverside. We had to flag people to come to our lots and charge them, all under the heat of the 90 degreessun...and did I mention I forgot the sunblock? Yeah, not pretty. The second hardest was probably being a telemarketer. I had tons of people yell at me and hang up. I don't blame them, but hey it was my job to interrupt their dinner hehe
Most embarrassing on-air moment?I'm not sure that this ever aired, but messing up a realitystar's name...his last name was Fairplay and well I said something else ; ) Oh and also interviewing Carmen Electra and calling her Jenny McCarthy oops! But the worst was last year when Mark & Kim revealed that I had a crush on my personal trainer...on the air...and while he was on the phone! I don't think I've ever blushed that much.

Best experience in radio? Meeting some of my closest friends, tons of celebrities and our wonderful listeners. And hearing myself on the air for the VERY first time...I was like "Oh my gosh...that's me!"
If you weren't in radio, what would you be doing?I would be a broadcast journalist, an actress, a writer, a lawyer, a stylist, a PR person or a school counselor.

What advice would you give to anyone who would like to get into the business? I would say intern, intern, intern.Work VERY HARD, be persistent, network, and be willing to make sacrifices.
Best artist you met/interviewed?
WOW this is tough...I've met lots of cool people, but I was SUPER excited to meet Steve Martin because he's AMAZING. As a 90's kid meeting Bob Saget from "Full House," and Scott Baio from "Charles in Charge" was a big deal. I alsoprobably earned major cool girl points for scoring a sit-down interview with Matthew McConaughey ;) Still, the ULTIMATE COOLEST person I've met has to be JOHN TRAVOLTA!

Here are a few of my personal recommendations for celebrating Valentine's Day around Los Angeles...while keeping a budget.
1. Visit LACMA.

2. Watch the Sun set on the beach.

3. Take a romantic stroll through the Venice Beach Canals.

4. Have a picnic at the Getty Museum.

5. Enjoy dessert and take in the spectacular view of the city from the Griffith Observatory.

The key is to feel romantic and enjoy the L.A. Landmarks.
Happy V-Day Everybody XO!
~K~

First of all, I'd like to apologize to everyone in our bridal party and on our guestlist.
According to a new survey by a British market research company called YouGov, your friends are costing you more than $1,000 a year by getting married. I think in L.A. it's double that. And if you're my friend Zella or Leanna, just multiply that by TEN!
Apparently the survey found that the average person spent $1,177 last year to attend the weddings of family and friends. That number, thankfully, includes travel and hotel costs, as well as the wedding gift.
Not surprisingly, women seem to spend about 19% more than men do...so about $1,340 a year. People 55 years old and above, spend about $1,8880. And couples who attend weddings will spend about $2,355 a year combined.
Now if you're asked to be IN the wedding...then it's REALLY going to cost you. The average bridesmaid spends $1,149 per wedding NOT per year. That's $1,149 for ONE WEDDING!
On the other hand, the average groomsman will spend $980 per wedding...guys always have it easier.
The lesson here...stick with single friends! LOL

Check out what Kimora sent me this month! My new love...JustFab's Law Bag =)
As a JustFab fashion insider I was asked to review the Black Law Bag, I can do that in one sentence...Ever since the Law Bag arrived in the mail, we have been inseparable!
I take it everywhere! It's dressy yet also a good everyday bag. Best of all, it's HUGE! I'm like the real life Mary Poppins...I carry my life in my bag...so I love it! Another thing I love about this bag is that it has all the right compartments. A small zipper bag inside for lipgloss and a mirror. Two other small compartments for a phone and hand sanitizer. Another zipper compartment on the outside for anything that requires easy access. And it's spill proof, which is a big thing for me. I like mike bags to be able to zip up all the way. I don't want anything falling out and getting lost. Plus, half the time I'm rushing somewhere and I just throw my bag in the car...so spill proof is VERY important. Another great thing about the Law is that it matches ANYTHING I wear. In the picture above I paired it with a pop of color and fun gold accessories.
It's also great for a dressy affair, paired with a dress or a mini.
And of course my favorite, the casual everyday look...paired with jeans, a cotton top, and a scarf.
I LOVE IT! It's black and neutral. It's practical and fashionable. It's my go-to handbag this winter. For details on the Law Handbag or for more Fab Fashion Finds log on to www.JustFab.com. Can't wait for next month's fashion review!
