Are you single or married? Married to my wonderful husband.
How many children do you have? I don't have any children.
Do you own a pet? Yes! He's my boy. I have a lab named "Sonny Boy".
Hobbies? Hiking in the hills with my dog, as well as music, piano, cooking and entertaining friends.
Favorite Color? The Rainbow! I know it's cheating, but I like all the colors together.
Favorite Sport? Beach volleyball.
Favorite book? "Like Water for Chocolate" - a book about love and cooking!
First appearance on KOST? Part-time in December, 1987. I was promoted to full-time on August 13, 1991.
What was your first radio job? A little station in Santa Paula, in the middle of an orange grove, called "KKBZ".
What was the worst job you ever had? I never had a bad job. I don't work at places where I'm not having fun or enjoy what I'm doing.
Most embarrassing on-air moment? At my first job in radio, the guys were real practical jokers. They replaced my regular commercials with various farm animal noises. When I went to play a commercial after finishing a song, I got a rooster crowing instead, followed by a cow and a pig!
Best experience in radio? Being able to host "Lovesongs on the KOST" every evening. I get goosebumps every night from the stories that people share with me. More specifically, Listener Appreciation Night at Disneyland! We get to meet so many listeners in one place. I'll never forget it.
If you weren't in radio, what would you be doing? Either a counselor, a TV chef on the Food Network, an animal trainer or a musician.
What advice would you give to anyone who would like to get into the business? First, ask yourself if you HAVE to do this. If your answer is yes, then do it--and let your passion drive you. You will get there!
Best artist you met/interviewed?
Michael Jackson! I met him while I was a VIP tour guide at Disneyland. I was taking a broadcast class and he allowed me to interview him for my class project. Yes, I hid my tape recorder in my purse.

As you may have heard, we had some trouble getting home from the Bahamas due to the tornados in the US keeping flights grounded, so we made the most out of our extended stay. Here are a few more pictures!
They always say breakfast is the most important meal of the day, and in my opinion, it's that much better when it's delivered to your room.
With full stomachs, we jumped aboard a boat and heading out for some snorkeling fun!
Look what I found!
Once we got back to the resort, we hopped about a Hobie Cat and set sail with one of the friendly staff members. It was such a beautiful day on the water.
After a long day of adventure, it was time to relax in the biggest spa I've ever seen, and we had it all to ourselves!
The next day I was able to squeeze in a quick massage...
... and before we knew it, it was time to say goodbye. We met so many great people, and made so many memories, and I hope to go back again soon!
