A true beach girl, Kari Steele is the surfing SoCal gal who brings more than 23 years of experience to Radio. Originally from California, Kari started her radio career in Hawaii and remained there for ten years. She came back to raise her wonderful family and to soak in the Cali sun. She is a sports nut and enjoys most everything outdoors. Kari is the proud mom of two sons: Drake, her 18 year-old and Cameron, her 15 year old. She has coached Cameron's baseball teams and also referees AYSO soccer. Keeping up with her boys has given her a better workout than she could ever get at the gym. Kari loves to spend her Sundays relaxing and catching up on all the past week's TV shows that she has DVR'd. She loves going to concerts and seeing live theatre. Kari's favorite place to spend her free time is a cozy little place called home. She doesn't really "hang out" much, instead she enjoys having friends over. Kari is a huge Angels baseball fan and frequently goes to games to represent her favorite team! In addition to going to baseball games, the beach and family time are on her list of favorite things to do

Did you watch Idol last night? First of all I think it's a shame they had to put 5 girls and 5 guys in the top 10 because there are 8 great girls and 2 great guys. But, there sure were some standouts last night. A few poor performances too. I think a guy will be going home first. What do you think? Oh, and it didn't bother me that Nicki was late, it happens. She is so entertaining the show wouldn't be the same without her.
