A true beach girl, Kari Steele is the surfing SoCal gal who brings more than 23 years of experience to Radio. Originally from California, Kari started her radio career in Hawaii and remained there for ten years. She came back to raise her wonderful family and to soak in the Cali sun. She is a sports nut and enjoys most everything outdoors. Kari is the proud mom of two sons: Drake, her 18 year-old and Cameron, her 15 year old. She has coached Cameron's baseball teams and also referees AYSO soccer. Keeping up with her boys has given her a better workout than she could ever get at the gym. Kari loves to spend her Sundays relaxing and catching up on all the past week's TV shows that she has DVR'd. She loves going to concerts and seeing live theatre. Kari's favorite place to spend her free time is a cozy little place called home. She doesn't really "hang out" much, instead she enjoys having friends over. Kari is a huge Angels baseball fan and frequently goes to games to represent her favorite team! In addition to going to baseball games, the beach and family time are on her list of favorite things to do

He is one of the few remaining reasons to be excited about watching the Angeles this season. Mike Trout hit for the cycle last night! Remember sports fans, he's only 21 years old! This kid has such a huge career ahead of him!

Don't mind me, I'm just a DJ. Engineers are literally rebuilding the studio while I am on the air. I have lots of company in here today. And Mark came in sick to supervise!

I didn't see this coming! Clippers aren't gonna renew Vinny Del Negro's contract! Anybody else surprised? Who's gonna get the job? They just better make sure they get Chris Paul to come back.

Justin Bieber seems to be attracting more bad publicity than good lately. Last night he was booed at the Billboard Music Awards. I want to boo him too, but not for the immature destructive things he has been doing lately but for abandoning his pet monkey Mally in customs in Munich airport during his world tour
The deadline to collect the monkey ran out at midnight on Friday, and Bieber will now have to pay thousands of Euros to an animal shelter who have been looking after the young capuchin for the past two months. Bieber's management says Justin has lost interest in keeping the monkey.

The energy around the house is gonna be a bit different for the next couple of months. My son is done with his first year of college and is moving back in this week! So happy to have him home. Let the adjustments begin!

Would you ever go this far to bypass lines at Disneyland/Disney World?
The New York Post says a few upper-crust Manhattan moms are paying $130 an hour to hire a disabled, “black-market” guide, who uses her position—sitting in a motorized scooter—to help entitled families gain special access to rides. So, basically moms are using false disability claims to skip lines
"My daughter waited one minute to get on ‘It’s a Small World’ — the other kids had to wait 2 1/2 hours,” one unnamed mom bragged to the Post. “You can’t go to Disney without a tour concierge...This is how the 1 percent does Disney.”
Though the New York Post has no on-the-record sources in its shocking report, Disney is taking the matter seriously, according to spokesperson Bryan Malenius, who told Yahoo!, “We are thoroughly reviewing the situation and will take appropriate steps to deter this type of activity." He added, "It is unacceptable to abuse accommodations that were designed for guests with disabilities."
The scheme of hiring out the disabled guide was uncovered by social anthropologist Wednesday Martin, a former New York Post contributor who was conducting research for a forthcoming book, “Primates of Park Avenue,” due out in 2014.

This is Dr. Soroudi......be gentle doc!
Alright, tomorrow's the big day! I'm going to do the Lasik surgery. Had my consult yesterday and I love my Doctor! He's so good, and darn cute! I'll let you know how it goes.

Super stoked! I get to go see the Rolling Stones Saturday night! I have been so fortunate to have been able to go to several shows over the years and see some of my favorite artists but The Stones are and act I have never seen! Finally! Who do you want to make sure you see while they are still touring before it's too late?
