I love attending sneak previews of upcoming movies. This week, my wife and I enjoyed our own date night in Hollywood. And, if you're looking for that perfect Valentine's date, you'll find the new release of "Safe Haven" (based on the current best-selling novel by Nicholas Sparks) an exciting romantic adventure.

Safe Haven features the multi-talented Julianne Hough as a beautiful and mysterious stranger who suddenly appears in a quaint southern seaside town. Safe Haven has been one of the most anticipated new movies for good reason. The film is full of surprising twists and turns, charming outdoor scenery and the ever-popular Josh Duhamel who plays the recently widowed father who falls for the mysterious young visitor (Julianne Hough).

The PG-13 rating is earned for adult themes and dangerous situations that sometimes keep you on then edge of your seat. But, there's plenty of romance, too. Plus, if you're a fan of Nicholas Sparks previous box-office blockbuster "The Notebook", you'll find more than a few touching similarities.

This movie has something for everyone, including a happy ending. Perhaps, that's why the entire theater (men and women) erupted in applause during the closing credits.

Meanwhile, make yourself familiar with Julianne Hough. She has the charm and genuine qualities that spell upcoming superstar.
