I was on my way to work yesterday when I spotted this beauty on the streets of Toluca Lake.  When I was younger, I wanted a fire truck for Christmas - the toy kind.  Of course, even at eight-years old, I would have taken the real thing instead.  My toy engine had a siren, shot water from a hose and was entertaining enough for a young boy.  However, big boys need big toys.

Wouldn't it be cool to own a real fire engine?  I thought about it for a moment or two.  Then, I realized ... where would I park the thing?  My garage is way too small.  I could park it out on the street, but I would have to move it every week for the street sweeper.  It seemed like way too much trouble for a weekend fling and a shot at riding in parades.  Oh, well.  Maybe next week someone will be selling a bright yellow taxi cab.
