Meet Britt, one of our resident foodies:
From a small farm town in So Cal to the big city of Los Angeles, Britt is living the life (on a budget but it's fabulous). You can catch her shopping her life away at Buffalo Exchange or Instagramming the latest trendy cafe in town. Not to mention a sucker for a killer Chai Tea Latte!
Meet Bianca, one of our resident foodies:
Bianca is a Southern California sista living her dream in Los Angeles. Keeping up with trends is what she lives for and she chases everything fun, fab and happening! You’ll probably spot her checking out a new restaurant, at a concert, or chatting with an upcoming designer. She loves Coca-Cola in a can...not in a bottle.
Meet Julie, our Vineal Vixen:
Julie Gauvin, accredited Junior Wine Expert and current serving Spokeswoman and Retail Director of Vine Winery, will be here to lend her expertise regarding all things wine. But most importantly, she’ll keep it interesting, light and fun for your drinking pleasure. Stay tuned as she helps you figure out what you like, where to find it, and what to pair it with. This newfound knowledge will give you that extra edge at the dinner table with friends, family or even on that hot date you have tonight. Check back every Wednesday to see what's new!
Meet Kasey, our LA Food Blogger:
This East Coast girl has recently traded in her New England Clam Chowda for California Rolls! Kasey has been whipping up delectable dishes in her kitchen since she was 10 years old. Combining ingredients and trying new concoctions became her favorite hobby. Kasey is a fabulous food blogger representing Kasey's Kitchen, her self-proclaimed food blog! Kasey attends a ton of fun food events around town and she is sharing her fun, healthy recipes with us every week!
Over the course of five days the Napa Valley opened its doors to the likes of Hollywood for its second annual Film Festival. With film, food and wine flourishing in four Festival Villages (Downtown Napa, Yountville, St. Helena, Calistoga) this event was my definition of heaven. The valley turned its swag on, stepped up its game and took care of business Los Angelino style. Storefronts transformed into wine tasting rooms, front porches became late night lounges, local restaurants were after-party destinations, and the Napa Valley Opera House was the centerpiece for major headliners including Silver Linings Playbook staring Jennifer Lawrence (Hunger Games), Bradley Cooper (Hangover) and Robert DeNiro (Goodfellas).
Thanks to Brenda and Marc Lhorner, co-founders of the festival and producers of the feature film Bottle Shock, they took what was once a struggling film festival in Sonoma, and turned it into a top-tier destination event in the heart of Napa Valley. Combing a love of film, food and wine their efforts succeeded in entertaining and captivating while bringing audiences and artists together. #Boss
With over a hundred new independent films, two hundred filmmakers, and industry guests the party didn’t stop when the curtain closed. Whether it was an exclusive after-party held at the home of Gina Gallo and Jean-Charles Boisset, a Gala at the Mondavi Vineyard, or an intimate Winemakers dinner, evenings were topped off by masterfully crafted red carpet events, and finished with an after hours dj at Bottega Restaurant & the Charbay late-Night Lounge at Groezinger in Yountville.
This event is a world-class celebration of independent films and world-renowned wine amidst the natural beauty and lifestyle of the world’s leading wine country destination. It just might be so that the Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah has a new competitor. To see photos from this year’s events and to find tickets for 2013 click here. #ClassSwaggerWine
