Meet Britt, one of our resident foodies:
From a small farm town in So Cal to the big city of Los Angeles, Britt is living the life (on a budget but it's fabulous). You can catch her shopping her life away at Buffalo Exchange or Instagramming the latest trendy cafe in town. Not to mention a sucker for a killer Chai Tea Latte!
Meet Julie, our Vineal Vixen:
Julie Gauvin, accredited Junior Wine Expert and current serving Spokeswoman and Retail Director of Vine Winery, will be here to lend her expertise regarding all things wine. But most importantly, she’ll keep it interesting, light and fun for your drinking pleasure. Stay tuned as she helps you figure out what you like, where to find it, and what to pair it with. This newfound knowledge will give you that extra edge at the dinner table with friends, family or even on that hot date you have tonight. Check back every Wednesday to see what's new!
Meet Kasey, our LA Food Blogger:
This East Coast girl has recently traded in her New England Clam Chowda for California Rolls! Kasey has been whipping up delectable dishes in her kitchen since she was 10 years old. Combining ingredients and trying new concoctions became her favorite hobby. Kasey is a fabulous food blogger representing Kasey's Kitchen, her self-proclaimed food blog! Kasey attends a ton of fun food events around town and she is sharing her fun, healthy recipes with us every week!
There may not be an easier way to freshen up your bathroom! Simply place a few drops on essential oil onto the cardboard tube of your toilet paper roll. We like Lemongrass but pick which ever you like best.
Do this with every new roll your bathroom will smell amazing until the roll is finished!

Spring has finally sprung and there’s nothing more fabulous than sippin’ on the perfect seasonal wine while showing off your freshly painted nails. Instead of matching the blooming floral colors outside choose a color that will imitate the wine in your glass (Wine Not)?! This week you’ll find me rockin’ a Pinot Noir shade. It perfectly compliments the warm sunshine and light breeze of a SoCal Spring, while staying true to the characteristics of a true Pinot. Check out some of my favorite Pinot Noir nail colors below (think pale red berries)!
I put my dining fate in the hands of our followers last night and asked which ingredients I should add to my shrimp dish. The unanimous vote was cilantro and lime, so here's what I came up with! Here’s a helpful tip too; grab the “Fresh Guacamole Kit” in the produce section and you’ll have a bunch of the ingredients in one box!

Over the weekend a friend of mine was telling me about Trader Joe's organic coconut oil and all the things she has noticed since she started cooking with it...so of course I had to try! They even have non fat coconut oil cooking spray, you can also get it in liquid or solid form.
This past week I have made pancakes, won tons, pot stickers, asparagus, zuccini and sausage with coconut oil and it was amazing. You would THINK your food would taste all coconuty-beachy....NOPE. Not only did my food taste amazingly fresh, I barely had to use any oil to cook my food, it wasn't greasy at all!
Not only is this oil good for cooking with, you can use it on your skin too! Here are some good facts about coconut oil:

From construction to glassware, the designer, and owner of Uncorked Glass Company gave his engineering skills an artistic twist when the housing market crashed. The result was a booming business in Atlanta, Georgia that promotes a green lifestyle by recycling wine bottles to create handcrafted glassware!
With over 3.7 billion wine bottles consumed in 2011 in the United States we could only hope that each one of these would be recycled. However, 80% end up in our landfills equating to almost 2.9 billion bottles of waste. The unique eco-friendly pieces of Uncorked Glass Co are 100% post consumer materials donated from local restaurants, and bars to further support their efforts to honor a green movement. #GoGreen
They’re also great for both hot and cold beverages, and are dishwasher safe! #WinWin
