As A Huge Fan Of Prince, This Is Hard To Hear

This is so sad to hear as a fan of Prince.

According to USA Today, the Associated Press obtained a copy of Prince's autopsy and it was revealed that he had "exceedingly high" amounts of fentanyl in his system when he passed away.

Prince was just 57 years old when he was found unresponsive in an elevator in Paisley Park on April 21, 2016. While it was already previously confirmed that he had fentanyl in his system, it was not revealed until now just how much it had impacted his death.

It has now been confirmed that these high amounts of the drug are a big factor in what killed him. According to the report, the concentration of fentanyl in Prince's blood was 67.8 micrograms per liter. Some people have been killed by as little as three micrograms of fentanyl.

Prince will always be remembered for his classic hits like "Purple Rain" and "When Doves Cry."
